Air Arabia Maroc Launches New Direct Route Connecting Rabat and Essaouira

Rabat, Morocco – April 2025 – Air Arabia Maroc has officially inaugurated a new domestic route linking the Moroccan capital, Rabat, to the coastal city of Essaouira. The service, which commenced operations on April 14, 2025, marks a significant step in the airline’s efforts to enhance domestic connectivity and promote regional tourism.

The new route will operate twice weekly, with flights scheduled on Mondays and Fridays. The service is expected to provide greater travel flexibility for both leisure and business travelers, while also contributing to the socio-economic development of the Essaouira region.

Flight Schedule:
Mondays:

Depart Rabat-Salé Airport at 13:30 – Arrive in Essaouira at 14:40

Return from Essaouira at 15:20 – Arrive in Rabat at 16:25

Fridays:

Depart Rabat-Salé Airport at 16:55 – Arrive in Essaouira at 18:05

Return from Essaouira at 18:45 – Arrive in Rabat at 19:50

The route will be serviced by the airline’s modern Airbus A320 fleet, known for its efficiency and comfort.

With this addition, Air Arabia Maroc continues to expand its domestic footprint, reaffirming its commitment to providing affordable and reliable air travel across the Kingdom. Tickets are available for booking via the airline’s official website, mobile application, call center, and through authorized travel agencies.

This strategic route is anticipated to boost visitor arrivals to Essaouira, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its historical medina, Atlantic beaches, and vibrant arts scene.
