Aljiha Post

ALJIHA POST
Morocco is making a powerful statement at the 55th edition of the Paris Air Show – Le Bourget, one of the most prestigious global events for the aerospace and defense industries. A high-level Moroccan delegation, led by senior government officials and key industry players, is attending the event to promote the Kingdom’s growing role in the global aerospace supply chain and attract new investments.

Represented by Abdessamad Kayouh, Minister of Transport and Logistics, Ryad Mezzour, Minister of Industry and Trade, and Karim Zidane, Minister Delegate in charge of Investment, the Moroccan delegation is actively engaged in B2B meetings with international aerospace firms, institutional actors, and potential investors. Also present is Ali Seddiki, Director General of the Moroccan Investment and Export Development Agency (AMDIE), who is spearheading strategic discussions with major global stakeholders.

The presence of Morocco at this flagship event underscores its ambition to position itself as a competitive industrial platform for aerospace manufacturing and innovation.

Strategic Role in Airbus Supply Chain
One of the key highlights was the reaffirmation of Morocco’s strategic importance to Airbus, with Wouter Van Wersch, Executive Vice President International of Airbus, declaring:

“All Airbus aircraft include components manufactured in Morocco. The country represents a major growth opportunity for our global operations.”

This statement validates Morocco’s ongoing efforts to become a regional hub for aerospace manufacturing, particularly in the machining, assembly, and production of precision components.

Promoting Investment and Innovation
The 2025 edition of the Paris Air Show introduces a new format focused on future-shaping themes such as:

Disruptive technological innovation

Sustainable air mobility

Defense and security

Drones and space technologies

Artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and cybersecurity

With over 2,500 exhibitors from 48 countries, 150 aircraft on display, and more than 300,000 visitors expected, the event serves as a vital platform for Morocco to showcase its industrial capabilities, skilled workforce, and investment incentives to a global audience.
