In the course of its regular session held in Tangier yesterday, the Real Estate Developers Union witnessed the election of Issa Ben Yaakoub as the new president of the professional body.
Ben Yaakoub is a distinguished figure in the real estate sector, having previously held leadership positions, endowing him with the necessary expertise to shoulder the responsibilities of the union presidency.
In his inaugural speech, Ben Yaakoub expressed his pride in the trust bestowed upon him by stakeholders in the real estate revitalization sector, a domain of vital importance in economic and social development.
The new president emphasized the sector’s significance, reflected in its annual public investments reaching up to 3 billion dirhams, highlighting its substantial contribution to job creation and the stimulation of associated sectors.
Ben Yaakoub pledged to continue the union’s journey, reinforcing its role in serving the real estate revitalization sector and enhancing the city of Tangier.
Alongside Ben Yakoub as president, the new board comprises a cadre of influential economic figures in the real estate field, including Montasser Abdalas and Mohamed Belbachir, serving as deputies to the president.
Other members of the board include Mohamed Sbai as the General Secretary, Nasser Allah El Kertit as the Deputy General Secretary, and Mohamed Chentah as the Treasurer, in addition to Hisham El Hamri as the Deputy Treasurer.
Taha Abaakil, Mohamed Arbaai, Malika Lahyan, Abu Bakr Arbaai, Hicham Ouazani, and Yassin Ahmadi were also elected as advisors to the new board.
The Real Estate Developers Union in Tangier is a professional body aiming to represent and protect the interests of stakeholders in the real estate revitalization sector in Tangier.
