The 10th edition of Morocco Fashion Style & Tex, held from May 28 to 31 in Casablanca, reaffirmed Morocco’s ambitions to establish itself as a competitive player in the global textile and fashion industry. Organized through a strategic partnership between the Casablanca-Settat Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services (CCIS-CS) and international exhibition expert Pyramids Group, the event gathered key industry stakeholders, foreign delegations, and business leaders around a comprehensive agenda focused on internationalization, industrial upgrading, and SME support.

A Platform for Economic Diplomacy and Trade Integration
Positioned as more than just a trade fair, the event served as a platform for economic diplomacy, marked by the presence of ambassadors from over a dozen countries including Turkey, India, and Vietnam. This strategic positioning aligns with Morocco’s broader goal of enhancing regional and global economic ties through sector-focused diplomacy.

“This event is not merely a showcase; it is a tool of economic diplomacy,” said Hassane Berkani, President of CCIS-CS. “Our goal is to bridge Moroccan enterprises with global markets through structured, high-impact engagement.”

Strategic Alliances Target North American Markets
A notable development at the fair was the exclusive commercial partnership between Moroccan textile leader Mazafil and Tactical Tactics, a Casablanca-based consultancy specializing in international market development. This alliance aims to secure inroads for Moroccan textiles in the U.S. and Canadian markets, which are considered high-potential export destinations.

This collaboration reflects a growing trend among Moroccan manufacturers to move beyond subcontracting and assume higher-value roles in global value chains, including co-contracting and OEM production.

Focus on SME Internationalization and Industrial Innovation
A central theme of the 2025 edition was the empowerment of SMEs, which represent a significant portion of Morocco’s industrial fabric. The fair provided a structured B2B framework, enabling targeted business matchmaking between Moroccan suppliers and international buyers, investors, and procurement representatives.

In parallel, a dedicated industrial zone highlighted innovations in textile machinery and production technology, reinforcing the need for technological upgrading and process integration within local firms.

High-Value Manufacturing with Cultural Identity
The fair also placed strong emphasis on design and cultural heritage, with a fashion show spotlighting the Moroccan Caftan. The event illustrated how traditional craftsmanship, when aligned with international design standards, can generate added value and market differentiation.

We are sending a strong message,” said Berkani. “Morocco can create, innovate, and deliver fashion products that compete on a global scale—while preserving our unique cultural identity.
With more than 10 years of continuous development, Morocco Fashion Style & Tex is evolving into a strategic business instrument—connecting Moroccan industrial SMEs with international trade opportunities, fostering
