Morocco’s Airline to Launch 4 New Direct Routes from Casablanca Hub

Aljiha Post

*Casablanca – As part of its development strategy and efforts to strengthen its network, Royal Air Maroc (RAM) is launching four new direct air routes from its hub in Casablanca, starting September, 2025.

These new destinations are Munich (Germany), Ndjamena (Chad), Sal Island (Cape Verde), and Zurich (Switzerland), the airline announced in a press release. These new routes reflect the national carrier’s ambition to meet the expectations of a diverse customer base.

Starting September 17, the Casablanca–Zurich route will operate with two weekly flights, as will the Casablanca–Ndjamena and Casablanca–Sal Island routes. Meanwhile, beginning October 20, 2025, the airline will launch a new direct route between Casablanca and Munich, also with two weekly flights.

The routes to Ndjamena and Sal Island are part of the national carrier’s continental strategy, aimed at expanding its African network and facilitating intra-African travel and exchanges between Africa and the rest of the world.
