Akdital closed the 2025 financial year with strong growth, confirming its position as a leading private healthcare operator in Morocco. The group reported consolidated revenues of 4.4 billion dirhams, marking a significant 49% increase compared to 2024. During the fourth quarter alone, revenues reached 1.3 billion dirhams, reflecting a 38% year-on-year rise driven by the expansion of its medical network and the growing contribution of newly opened facilities.

This performance is largely supported by the maturity of existing hospitals and the ramp-up of establishments launched in 2024 and 2025, which generated more than 1.07 billion dirhams in revenue over the year. The integration of the Private Hospital and the International Oncology Center of Rabat further strengthened Akdital’s footprint, bringing total capacity to 4,505 beds across 41 facilities by the end of December 2025.

Present in 24 cities nationwide, the group continues to expand beyond the Casablanca-Rabat axis, where 70% of its bed capacity is now located and nearly 79% of annual admissions are recorded. Medical activity remained intense, with more than 3,300 open-heart surgeries and over 10,000 coronary angioplasty procedures performed, alongside significant oncology services including tens of thousands of chemotherapy and radiotherapy admissions.

Akdital’s workforce reached 9,894 employees at the end of the year, including 2,804 new hires in 2025. Investment efforts remained substantial, totaling 2.09 billion dirhams in net spending aimed at equipping new facilities, preparing future openings, and upgrading existing infrastructure. Internationally, the group allocated 589 million dirhams, notably for land acquisitions in Dubai and Riyadh and the launch of construction works in Dubai, in line with its asset-light strategy.

Net debt rose to 4.24 billion dirhams, reflecting the scale of ongoing expansion and a 1.2-billion-dirham bond issuance completed in the fourth quarter to diversify financing sources. The consolidation scope also expanded with the addition of new specialty clinics and international entities, while Taghazout Santé exited the perimeter at year-end.

Looking ahead to 2026, Akdital aims to accelerate both national and international growth. In Morocco, the group plans to reach 62 facilities in more than 32 cities by 2027, exceeding 6,200 beds. Abroad, strategic projects include a memorandum of understanding to acquire Bishri Hospital in Mecca and a potential acquisition of Taoufik Hospitals Group in Tunisia, pending regulatory approvals. A new fundraising initiative is also underway to support the group’s international expansion strategy.
