Starting tomorrow, Monday, a new work organization will be implemented at the Tangier Med Port to ensure the continuity of customs services at the port.

This measure, which was taken in consultation with the port authorities and the private sector, is in line with the policy of supporting companies adopted by the Customs Administration. This means that all customs operations at Tangier Med Port will be possible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

This measure aims to facilitate customs clearance procedures for goods and reduce their transit time through customs, in order to support the competitiveness of exporting companies and actors in the field of international freight transport.

In order to ensure the success of this measure adopted for the benefit of companies, the Customs Administration has taken all the necessary measures to mobilize and strengthen the number of its staff within the enclosure of this port, and to adapt the organization of work there, in response to the requirements of the new situation of the workflow.

On this occasion, the Customs and Indirect Taxation Administration called on all economic actors to organize themselves in accordance with these new procedures, so that the efforts made by everyone bear fruit.
