Morocco’s tourism sector continues to strengthen its position as one of the country’s most powerful economic engines, driven by strategic reforms, rising investments, and a clear long-term vision. The latest figures presented by Fatim-Zahra Ammor before Parliament confirm that the 2023–2026 tourism roadmap is no longer simply a policy framework—it is becoming a tangible economic transformation visible across the country.

At the heart of this momentum stands the “Go Siyaha” program, which has rapidly emerged as a catalyst for modernization within Morocco’s tourism ecosystem. More than 1,270 tourism projects have already benefited from the initiative, highlighting growing confidence among entrepreneurs and investors while accelerating innovation and competitiveness across the sector.

Investment momentum is equally impressive. Between 2024 and 2025, Morocco saw the creation of 380 new tourism units, reflecting the Kingdom’s increasing attractiveness to both domestic and international investors, particularly as major global hospitality brands continue entering the Moroccan market.

Employment figures tell an equally compelling story. Over the past three years, the sector has generated 92,000 new jobs, bringing total tourism employment to nearly 894,000 positions, further confirming tourism’s central role in supporting economic inclusion and social development.

Air connectivity is also playing a strategic role in sustaining this expansion. For 2026, Morocco has scheduled 14.5 million airline seats, a significant increase designed to support growing visitor arrivals and strengthen the country’s presence across key international markets.

Taken together, these indicators show that Moroccan tourism is no longer in recovery mode. It has entered a new phase of structured expansion, positioning the Kingdom as one of the most dynamic tourism destinations in the region and a rising global player ahead of major international milestones.
