Madrid – Net-Pharma Hub, the leading pharmaceutical hub in Europe based in Madrid, is planning to establish a pharmaceutical hub in Morocco, its president said during a meeting Wednesday with Morocco’s ambassador to Spain, Karima Benyaich.

The president of Net-Pharma Hub also expressed interest in collaborating with Morocco by setting up training programs for healthcare professionals in the Kingdom.

The announcement was made during a visit by Benyaich to Net-Pharma Hub, a pioneering service platform in Europe comprising several leading companies specialized in pharmaceutical services and technologies. The visit served as an opportunity to explore ways to strengthen cooperation with Morocco through the sharing of experience, transfer of technology and expertise.

It was also an occasion to emphasize the importance of Morocco-Spain relations in several economic sectors, including pharmaceuticals, which remain a priority and one of the pillars of the new phase initiated with the adoption of the Joint Declaration during Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez’s visit to Morocco on April 7, 2022, at the invitation of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.

The visit also offered insight into a true model of innovation and performance, marked by a forward-thinking approach that integrates advanced technologies, optimized management practices and a constant commitment to improving access to healthcare.

Net-Pharma Hub is one of the leading reference centers in Europe for technological and industrial services in the health sector. Inaugurated in December 2023 by Isabel Ayuso, president of the Autonomous Community of Madrid, it brings together around 30 companies – mostly SMEs – with significant experience in the sector and a combined annual turnover of more than €1 billion.
