Casablanca – Morocco’s national carrier, Royal Air Maroc (RAM), launched on Sunday a new direct route between Casablanca and Los Angeles, marking a significant step in strengthening air connectivity between Africa and the U.S. West Coast.

The inaugural flight departed from Casablanca’s Mohammed V International Airport at 4:00 a.m. local time, to arrive at 8:20 a.m., the airline said in a statement. The non-stop service covers the route in approximately 12 hours, further expanding RAM’s transatlantic network and enhancing links between Morocco and the Pacific coast of the United States.

The new service will operate three times a week, with departures from Casablanca scheduled on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Return flights from Los Angeles will leave at 10:20 a.m. local time and arrive in Casablanca the following day at 5:25 a.m. local time.

The route is served by modern wide-body aircraft equipped with advanced technology and designed for long-haul travel. Passengers will benefit from high-quality onboard services, individual entertainment systems and enhanced comfort throughout the journey.

The launch of the Casablanca–Los Angeles route responds to growing demand for intercontinental travel and is expected to serve the Moroccan diaspora, American tourists and business travelers alike.

It also comes ahead of major international football events in the United States, offering fans a convenient travel option to support their teams during the upcoming global tournaments.
